Together in passion, driven by the love of pickleball.
My Story
I’m Hari, and for many years, I worked in the corporate world. But in 2018, I took a leap and ventured into real estate, bringing my background in architectural photography, branding, writing, and indie filmmaking to see the potential in older homes and transform them into something beautiful. My passion for storytelling and creativity made this work fulfilling, and in 2022, I left my corporate job to focus on my projects full-time.
But it was in 2023 that I stumbled upon something unexpected—pickleball. After playing for a week, I was hooked. On April 3rd, 2024, I returned to the game for good and haven’t stopped since. Now I spend hours on the court almost daily, and PDA Pickleball started as a place to document that obsession. It’s grown into a spot for paddle reviews, gear breakdowns, and the kind of on-court advice I wish someone had handed me when I started.
Why “Devotees Anonymous”?
Anyone who plays knows the feeling—once pickleball has you, it has you. PDA is a nod to that: a place where devotees (that’s everyone here, no judgment) show up because of a shared, slightly ridiculous, entirely genuine love of the game. Together in passion, driven by the love of pickleball.
How I Review Gear
Every review on this site is based on paddles and equipment I’ve actually played with, either purchased myself or provided by a manufacturer for testing. Manufacturer-provided units never affect the rating or the verdict—if a paddle isn’t good, the review says so.
